I'm Getting Baptized!

Hello Friend!

We are looking forward to your decision to be baptized! The ceremony will take place after the sermon on Sunday. When Pastor JJB opens the altars for 1 song, you will make your way to the left side of the stage to get ready for your baptism!

What does Baptism mean?

Baptism is the outward act showing what your heart has received. The water indicates the washing away of all your sins, as Jesus has done for your heart and soul.

Baptism is a visible way to show the inner change in your heart. The water represents the cleansing of sins, just as Jesus cleanses your heart and soul. It's illustrates the deep spiritual renewal happening within.

We simply get baptized to show the world that we belong to Jesus!

Things to Know

A few important things to know, bring a change of clothes. If you signed up in time, we will have a "Made New" shirt you will wear to be baptized in. You can pick it up before service that morning at The Shop in the Lobby. You will have time to change before being baptized. We will have a towel for you but feel free to bring your own.

One of our ordained or district-licensed pastors will baptize you. We understand wanting a family member to help, but if they are not one of our licensed ministers, then they will not be able to baptize you.

There will also be a "family zone" on the right side of the stage so they can take pictures and celebrate with you while you get baptized!

I'm Becoming a Member!

We are so excited to officially welcome you into the family as a Member of Realove Church! Becoming a Member is a big step, and we want to celebrate the journey you’ve taken to get here.

To become a Member at Realove, you needed to meet three important steps:

Be at least 15 years old,
Complete our GrowthTrack Course,
Sign and commit to our Membership Commitment Form.

You’ve done it — and now it's time to celebrate!

Here’s how your Membership Ceremony will happen: Your ceremony will take place right after worship, before the message begins.
After the third song, you’ll notice Pastor Sarah step up during the prayer moment.
That’s your cue!

As she takes the stage, you’ll quietly head toward her and line up with the others who are joining.
From there, we'll guide you through everything, introduce you to the church, and celebrate your commitment! If you're also dedicating a child please bring them with you during this ceremony because you will stay on stage once this ceremony is concluded.

I'm Dedicating a Child!

We are so excited to celebrate this special moment with you and your family through Child Dedication at Realove Church! What a beautiful step you’re taking — committing to raise your child in a Christ-centered home, surrounded by a church family that’s cheering you on.

There weren’t any prerequisites for dedication other than signing up — and we are honored you chose to be part of this special day!

The Dedication Ceremony will happen immediately after the New Member Ceremony.
When Pastor Sarah begins praying for the new members, that’s your signal to quietly make your way to the stairs of the stage. If you are already onstage becoming a new member great! Just make sure to have your children with you already!

Ashley Godlen will lead your dedication moment — and we’ll all celebrate together as a church family!
