Our Beliefs
THE BIBLE We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, serving as the ultimate authority in matters of faith and conduct.
God We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, was born of a virgin, died for our sins, was bodily resurrected, reigns in Heaven as King, and he will return again to judge evil and unite The Church.
Salvation We believe Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We believe in the need for personal repentance and acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.
The Holy Spirit We believe in the Holy Spirit's active work in the world, convicting of sin, regenerating believers, and empowering them for service.
Spiritual Growth We believe sanctification through the baptism of the Holy Spirit is both a profound moment of grace and a lifelong commitment to holy living. After receiving salvation, this second work of grace opens the door to live fully in God's holiness. It requires continual dedication, empowered by God's grace through the Holy Spirit.
Spiritual Gifts We believe when God sanctifies you he also gifts you. Spiritual gifts should be expressed in the church with balance and guidance from the church’s spiritual leadership.
Miracles We believe that God still works miracles by the power of the Holy Spirit through the faith of The Church.
Human Sexuality We believe in the sanctity of marriage between one man and one woman as defined by Scripture. While acknowledging the complexities of human sexuality, we hold to the biblical view, emphasizing God's grace and the transformative power of His love to guide us into living according to His will.
Heaven and Hell We believe in heaven and hell, the literal return of Jesus to our world, His reign over all creation, the resurection of believers to everlasting life in heaven, the judgment of sinners to eternal separation in hell, and the triumph of the Kingdom.
